| This screenshot shows the remarkable image of the Lake Superior shoreline with the Halo 4 open array radar set at 64nm range. Thank you to Rick Phillips for capturing this image while being in the middle of the lake! Maritronics installed the equipment in 2017. Rick also said of the short range “It spotted a log 12” above the surface. Just a few feet away from the boat.” Also Rick said “The radar has paid for itself times over this year with all the bad weather. I can spot cells 60+ miles out!”
